Level UP Youth Mental Wellness

1. Raise Awareness of mental health issues affecting youth, such as anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma.
2. Promote Mental Health Literacy by providing youth with the knowledge and tools to identify, manage, and seek help for mental health challenges.
3. Empower Youth to take charge of their mental well-being through skill-building workshops, peer support, and leadership development.
4. Foster a Supportive Community by connecting youth with mental health professionals and services that provide ongoing support.

• Coping with Stress and Anxiety: This workshop provided hands-on techniques such as mindfulness, breathing exercises, and journaling to help youth manage stress and anxiety.
• Social Media and Mental Health: Participants explored the impact of social media on mental health, learning strategies to cultivate a positive online presence and reduce digital stress.
• Building Resilience: Youth were taught resilience-building strategies, such as goal-setting, positive thinking, and problem-solving, to navigate life's challenges more effectively.
• Supporting Peers in Crisis: A session focused on recognizing the signs of mental health struggles in peers and how to provide appropriate support or guide them to professional help.

• Mental Health Resources: A range of organizations, including mental health service providers, and counseling centers, to provide information and resources for participants to access ongoing support.
• Community Support Services: Attendees will learn  about local and national hotlines, online support groups, and community centers that offer free or low-cost mental health and substance use services for youth.
